*100th post*

This marks my 100th post. I've been in Taiwan well over 100 days but I didn't get to chance to blog every day. I'm glad I've been keeping up with my blog, hopefully I can continue it. So this morning was awful since Kenny woke me up at 6am and I worked from 10am-7pm. He is really spazzing out because Drew is gone. I hope he doesn't keep meowing crazily when Drew comes back. Today I taught all day and I used to dread my last class since I only teach one hour and they don't like playing games but they have gotten to be a lot more fun. We were playing this game where you create sentences and get points by using prepositions 2pts, nouns 1pt, or verbs 3-4pts. Linking words such as "although", "in addition," or "however" are worth more (5 pts) than the other words but it's fun to add them in since they haven't really learned those words and it makes the game harder. They also are only supposed to write one sentence. One of the students wrote this long sentence using the conjunctions and linking words and it was awesome because his sentence equal to 74 pts. Two students were writing a storylike sentence but since they weren't using the words on the board, they only received 31 pts. It was hilarious because they were freaking out and didn't understand why they didn't get that many points since they wrote a lot. They told me they want to play next time and that they are going to go home and look up the words they don't know. Oh the joys of teaching lol
