Bread goodness

For one of my lessons tonight, my K6 class is learning past tense questions and answers. I was practicing with the "wh" questions like who, what, where, when, why. I was getting confused though because I would write the answer and they would write the question but they were mixing up on the tenses when they were writing the questions. However, I realized that when you ask "what, where, when" it needs to be in present tense like "What did you do today? Where did you go shopping?" But if you ask "who" you need to use past tense like "Who cried today?" Sadly, I was getting them confused though because I wouldn't emphasize the tenses and I didn't even think about how the tenses switch when you ask certain questions. This is how my job is actually improving my English because as a native speaker, you don't think about these things since it makes sense and it comes natural to just know the rules. It's weird that you would have to explain these little details but they are important. I was tired though by the time I taught them since I previously taught two energetic classes before them so I wasn't thinking clearly but luckily they understood somewhat of what I was saying. But they are crazy kids anyways so it's not like they were getting angry with me lol Oh English..

After work I went to the Shida night market tonight to buy some presents. I haven't eaten dinner yet since I just got off work and I was planning on buying some small snack food at the market. I passed by this bakery which had fresh bread and huge buns/rolls. They had many different kinds of buns and I ordered two; red bean and taro. It was amazing! I was happy to see the red bean since I haven't seen many stands that have them and as I blogged before, I just had my first red bean bun a couple of weeks ago. The buns were so cheap and so fresh that it just came out of the steamer. Then when I got to the night market, I got another bun that had different meat and vegetables inside. I definitely had my bread fix for awhile!
