Speaking Chinese without stopping

Today after work I ordered some dinner to go. I ordered luwei which is where you can select noodles, meat, and vegetables and they cook it in a sauce and serve it in a bag. I ordered my food and I even asked them questions like why they weren't using the vegetables I chose and the lady told me they don't use the vegetables up front because they have them in the back and it's already cleaned. Anyway so then I orderd shaved ice and the lady understood me when I told her my toppings and she didn't speak English to me. So as you may think this is just another ordinary day of ordering food, but it wasn't since no one spoke English to me. Usually they don't understand and I have to repeat myself or I can't say something smoothly and I stutter. Tonight wasn't the case at all. I actually ordered food at two different places and I spoke with my Uncle tonight about making dinner plans for next week, all in Chinese without stopping to think of what to say next. I know I've been here for almost 5 months but I don't get to practice my Chinese a lot. I'm glad that it's somewhat improving. At least now I can think of what to say and actually converse with most people lol
