This morning I went to work early because I needed to prep and grade for my classes. I need to scan an unofficial copy of my transcripts for one of my grad school applications. It's really hard to find a scanner here, well mainly because I'm in a foreign country. My aunt and uncle have one but when I went to the their place last night, my aunt told me that it was broken. I could go to a copy store but I didn't really have an idea of where to go. I was at work early today and I tried to see if the copy machine could also scan things. One of my coworkers was there since she teaches an early morning class. She was so sweet. I asked her if the machine could scan things and if she knew how to do it. She had no idea and she called one of the secretaries to help me scan things downstairs. That was very nice of both of them and I kept saying thank you. This may sound corny and it's not a big deal but they both really helped save me from a lot of stress and hassle of finding someone/some place to scan an important document for my grad school application that is due within a couple of weeks. And it only took a min. or so to scan and upload it on my USB. Awesomeness!
