Our Taiwan Thanksgiving

Today was our Thanksgiving dinner/celebration. Since most of us didn't have a chance to go back home for the holidays, Drew and I decided to host a Thanksgiving dinner at our place. Everyone brought a side dish and it was a great turn out. There was a lot of food and it was a good night. The pictures above are all the food that we made and what people brought.

The turkey was good although the gravy and stuffing that came with it wasn't super delicious but I can't complain since it was free with the turkey. I also decided to make cranberry sauce this year since I didn't know what the quantities were for the sauce at the place where I ordered the turkey. I made it last night and it was still soupy this morning but I just had to keep boiling it but at least I made it and it was okay lol Everyone was getting pretty stuffed and we even had 3 big pies. There will be a lot of leftovers at work these next couple of days. After we ate, everyone was getting pretty sleepy but some people were playing mahjong while others were playing on the Wii. It was a good night to just have a good time hanging out with coworkers and friends, eating different types of food, and celebrating Thanksgiving aka being thankful for what I have :)
